Welcome.

We are so happy you found us here - we’d love to help you find a beautiful piece of original art or a print for your home. All of the original paintings and custom frames for our one-of-a-kind works are handmade in our home - painted by me, Sandy, and framed by Craig (see below for a bit more about Craig) - we are a true one-stop shop for original fine art. We ship finished, ready-to-hang pieces to homes all over the U.S. For original works only, we also offer local pick-up at our studio, in Cranford, NJ and can deliver locally, if pick-up isn’t possible.

Notes on our Print shop:

We recently opened a print shop featuring a wide variety of archival reproductions of some of my favorite works. Our prints are offered on gorgeous, velvety-smooth Somerset paper as well as stretched-canvas. Our purpose in opening the print shop was to, hopefully, offer a more affordable, more customizable and more gift-able option for current and future collectors.

Our wonderful printer is located in Littleton, Colorado - we’ve entrusted them to create beautiful, archival, high-quality reproductions of our original works. Currently, we are not offering framing for prints, but we’ve chosen to print our works using standard sizes that correlate nicely with many easy-to-find, store-bought frame options. Due to the location of our printer, unfortunately, we cannot extend our offer of studio pick-up for our prints, as everything is shipped directly out of Colorado.

Notes on painting and some personal details:

Whether I am painting a landscape, a still-life, or a piece of true abstraction, I try to create an echo or an impression of a place, a moment, or a feeling using paint. While most of my paintings may have a representative quality, I tend to use off-beat composition, along with bold color, line, and texture to create something imaginative and ethereal, yet always evocative of something familiar. My process is intuitive and playful; while I am a meticulous planner in the other parts of my life, I find creating art is the place where I can be exploratory, whimsical, and daring.

My painting experience goes back 20+ years to my days of being student at Sarah Lawrence in the late 90s. Aside from painting and parenting, I am also a voracious reader and have been working in the publishing industry (in production) for 23+ years.

The Woodworker

Craig works as a carpenter for a local builder by day and creates beautiful, rustic frames for Sandra’s original paintings in his spare time. During his down time, he enjoys craft beer, bird-watching, baseball and camping. We have been married for over 17 years and have two children (15 and 12). We are fortunate to live in a house that was previously owned by Craig’s grandparents for 49 years, in beautiful Cranford, NJ.
