Shipping & Returns

  • All prices include shipping within the continental US; we generally use insured UPS Parcel for our shipments of original paintings.

    If you are ordering a piece outside of the standard size range (bigger than 36x48) we will likely communicate with you about a different shipment method, using an art shipping/handling company that does require some further communication.

    Our prints are shipped directly from our printer in Colorado.

    For original paintings only: customers who are able to pick-up locally will receive an adjusted price. Please select PICKUP at checkout and you will see a promo code.

  • *If you’ve ordered an unframed painting, please allow 1-2 weeks for your painting to ship.

    *If you’ve ordered a custom framed painting, please allow 3-4 weeks for your painting to ship.

    *If you have ordered a paper print, please allow 8-10 days for your print to ship. If you have ordered a stretched canvas print, please allow 10-15 days for your print to ship.

    *If you have ordered a mini-mountain framed painting, please allow 3-5 days for your painting to ship.

    **If you have a special situation and need something quicker - please reach out! We generally try and get paintings framed and shipped within 1-2 weeks, but it really depends on our workload at the time.

    Once your order has shipped, whether it’s an original painting via UPS, or a print from our printer in Colorado, you will receive an automated email with tracking information.

    Please do reach out via email if you plan on being away in the near future, specifically, if you’ve ordered an original painting, so we can coordinate a convenient delivery window. Depending on insurance value, some of the pieces we send out will require a signature upon delivery.

  • We do not offer international shipping at this time. We offer continental U.S. shipping and local pickup (we are located in Cranford, NJ - if you’re willing to drive here, we can help you pack it in your car!).

  • All sales are final.

    However, if the painting and/or frame is damaged during shipping, please send an email (sandra@studiosjursen.com) within 1-2 days of delivery with photos and an explanation of the damage, and we will issue an applicable refund - this is why we insure our shipments with UPS.

    If your print (paper or stretched-canvas) arrives and is damaged during shipping, please follow the above instructions so we can figure out the best way forward; we do insure our prints, so we can likely send you a replacement, if it arrives damaged.

    A note on color and purchasing art online: All photos are taken in natural light (with no filters) to best capture the true color, vibrance, and tone of the pieces. However, depending on the calibration of the screen or device that you are viewing it on, the colors you see in person may vary from what is represented on your screen. 

    I’m more than happy to send more photos (in different lighting), send a short video which may show more angles and more ‘realistically’ represent the piece, or show pieces in person, if you are local. Please send a DM or email if you’d like me to send you more photos, a short video or to schedule a studio visit.
